Peter’s journey in education began at the young age of twelve when he started working with preschool students as a summer camp counselor. Over the years, he climbed the ranks, ultimately becoming the Preschool Camp Director. This early experience sparked his passion for working with young children and set the foundation for his future career.
He pursued his higher education at St. John’s University in Queens, NY, where he earned degrees in Communications and Business Administration. After gaining some experience in these fields, Peter decided to follow his heart and pursue a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Touro College.
He began his teaching career in a Special Education Preschool, and he later transitioned to the New York City Department of Education Public School system. Throughout his tenure as an educator, Peter embraced a dynamic approach by blending innovative and traditional teaching methods to establish a solid foundation for lifelong learning. He excels in understanding each student’s unique interests, characteristics, and needs and employs a diverse range of instructional strategies to meet those needs effectively.
For seven years, Peter dedicated himself to teaching Kindergarten and 2nd Grade, instilling a love for learning in his young students. However, he yearned for a school environment that aligned more closely with his educational values of fun, love, and duty. It is with unwavering enthusiasm and boundless energy that Peter joins the VHG Group managers’ team to contribute to the noble mission of educating the future citizens of the world.
